新闻主播Pathapi (Krist饰)因工作丑闻而身败名裂，公司请来海归制片人帮其转型，谁知新来的制片人Thantawan (Singto饰)就是Pathapi的旧恋人，他们的工作和情感又会经历什么样的变化呢？《The Ex-Morning》是GMMTV的原创剧本，这是在对KS二人深入调查后创作的，由《一年生》导演执掌拍摄，并且许多工作成员也都来自《一年生》剧组。
